Melling Vision, Aims and Objectives.
Our Vision
Communication: Strengthen the communication between the Parish Council and residence through our social media, website, noticeboards and our community partnerships.
Working with partners: Maintain existing partnerships whilst forming new relationships with local groups and organisations to give a cohesive community approach in what we do.
Traffic Management: Work with Sefton Council to influence the implementation of necessary traffic calming measures.
Travel: Work with Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive to improve services in Melling that provide access to hospitals and links to other local transport.
Environmental Issues: Identify improvements that are necessary and liaise with the Sefton Central Area Committee over provision.
Anti-social behaviour: Maintain relationships with the community officers and through regular liaison with the local police we will continue to combat antisocial behavior within the area.
